    What is WINGS?
    Women In Networking Generating Success (WINGS) is a networking organization dedicated to business and professional women of Kitsap County, Washington. It is a group dedicated to the advancement of women in their chosen professions through networking and marketing opportunities. WINGS functions to help women in business achieve greater success in their business or profession through the sharing of referrals. The group was founded in June of 1998.

    How do I become a WINGS member?
    To become a WINGS Member: Visit Our Members directory to see if your business or product is already represented by a member. Check out the requirements for membership. If there are no members representing your product or service and you agree with the requirements of membership, please e-mail our membership director for an invite to our next meeting.

    Who are WINGS members?
    WINGS' membership is limited to forty (40) non-compete business and professional women from a variety of professions. Prospective members are required to complete an application for membership. Final approval for membership is voted on by current members. Please go to Our Members directory for a complete listing of WINGS.

    Why is WINGS membership only allow non-competing businesses?
    Networking is to develop and produce business leads.  Non-compete groups work best for this. We strive to pre-qualify our leads to each other. When there is only one business to refer....it is a win-win situation.

    When and where are WINGS meetings?
    WINGS meetings are currently held at Round Table Pizza, 3276 NW Plaza Road, Silverdale, Washington from 12noon to 1pm on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month. The meetings consist of a welcome, intro of guests and new members, discussion of old business, a speaker, and close of business.

    What are the requirements for membership?
    WINGS requirements for membership include:

    • Be a female business professional with a primary product or service or in a position of significant influence in a business that provides a product or service.
    • Agree to membership non-compete clause
    • Quarterly dues of $30
    • Attendance requirements that include termination of membership in the event of more than 2 absences during a quarter

    Why become a WINGS Member?
    As a member of WINGS, you immediately receive exposure from WINGS. You benefit from marketing and advertising support currently in place as a result of a well defined marketing plan. Access to the WINGS members provides an opportunity to inform other members of your products, services, and upcoming events. Upon acceptance, new members will be provided information on meetings, speakers' list, and press releases.

    How does WINGS promote my business?
    WINGS members and the group as a whole promote each other's businesses. We aim to maintain a 2:1 referral ratio per meeting. In addition, WINGS utilizes this web site, WINGTips, and other media avenues for promotion of individual members and the group as a whole.

    What WINGS is not.
    WINGS meetings are not to be used for any partisan, political, or radical purposes. WINGS does not get involved in issues that the membership is not in agreement on. WINGS is not used for philanthropic purposes.
